Wednesday’s Word-Possess

Wednesday’s Word
Possess
Joshua 1:2-3

2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

There will come a time when your leader will not be there. I’m not talking about Our Father, but the person that has been place to guide you. It could be your parents, family member, or spiritual leader…someone that has taken you and placed something in you. A person that has prayed for you in the good times and cried with you in the bad; that person that you have leaned on a time or two when in need, but now the person is gone and there is still work to be done. Not only that, but it is your time to take the reins and complete the work.

Some have been looking to your leader to do everything, but now it is your turn. It is time to tighten up your shoes, put your big boy pants on and take control of the ship. I know some of you feel that you are not equipped for the task, but the task has already been completed. You just need to follow instructions. Your leader has told you what to do, your leader has trained you to do, your leader has given you the rules and regulations, but your leader can’t take you in to your destiny. It’s time for you to get up, it’s time for you to go over, and it’s time to take your people, it time to possess the land.

You have been given everything you need to get the job done. You know what to do, how to do, when to do, but you are scared to do. My brother, my sister…get up and go over! He has given you the land; he has told you that you would have it, what seems to be the problem? He told it to your leader before and now He is speaking it to you. Walk in your destiny and not in doubt, step in your position and not out of place. It is your time…possess the land.
