Tuesday’s Word-The Trip

Tuesday’s Word
The Trip
Matthew 28:20

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

While taking a business trip, I began to see some of the similarities have going through life and taking a plane ride through uncertain weather. I received a call about 6 AM stating that my flight would be delayed two hours. While you are starting out, you may experience delays that could throw you back. You may have to alter your plans just for a little while, but don’t get discouraged. Yahshua said He would never leave nor forsake you.

While taking off, we had to make a turn which (and if you know airplanes) makes the plane “tip” to one side and then the plane corrects itself to get in the right position…or what I call “right the ship”. Some things come to us and it makes us tip over just a little. It’s not that we don’t know what or where to go; we have just changed positions and need to right the ship. We have to be able to take a hit and keep it moving. We know what to do, but at that point, we choose another path…but when we can right the ship, we will be in the right direction.

We were ascending to the determined altitude and we were going through the clouds. We couldn’t see anything, but we kept going up until we were there and on top of the cloud. There are times when you will not see your way, but if you are in the will of God you are still going up. Don’t worry about what is going on, He has the best for you. You keep going up and eventually, you will be on top of the clouds, My God.

Last, there was so much turbulence…boy I tell you; but isn’t that like life? If you had a smooth ride all the time, you wouldn’t be able to feel the love God has for you, because you wouldn’t think you need Him. If He didn’t shake you up JUST a little, you would have your nose up in the air at everybody. If you didn’t experience a sudden drop every now and then, you would think it is all your doing. But after the turbulence, how sweet it was to reach the destination. God will give you so much peace when you are in your destiny…Have mercy.

There will be sometimes that we don’t know what’s going on, there will be times when you have delays, there are times when you will have troubles for some if not most of the times but will you continue to take the trip?
